Tomoyo's Wish

  It's been five years now since Eriol left to go back home for England. It's now the second year of high school and Tomoyo couldn't think about anything but him the whole week. She really missed him. She wondered how he looks now and if he still remembers her. Whenever she saw Sakura with Li, she would get so jealous of them that tears would drop from her face. She wondered why she didn't tell him she loved him.

"In the Morning"

Tomoyo: "Morning Sakura-chan! Where were you last night? I've been trying to call you!"

Sakura: "Sorry Tomoyo, I was on a date with Syaoran in the park and we weren't home until ten."

Just then, Li enters the classroom.

Li: "Hey Tomoyo, I got a letter for you that want sent from England."
Tomoyo: "Huh? But the only one I know from England is ."
Tomoyo: "Oh my god! Li give me that!!!"

She quickly opened the letter.

Tomoyo: " Hey, it's from Eriol!!"
Li: "Whoa, I didn't know you missed him that much. Don't you remember he was the guy who attacked Sakura and me just to get the Clow Cards changed?"
Tomoyo: "So?"
Li: " We would have been better off without him! When the right time came, Sakura could just transform it instead of leading a wild goose chase in public."
Tomoyo: "Oh shut up Li!"
Li: " Well someone here is touchy."

Li sat down in his seat behind Sakura. Then Li and Sakura started talking about their date last night. Tomoyo was anxiously reading the letter during class.

Teacher: "Tomoyo! What have I told you about passing notes in class?"

The teacher takes the letter and to Tomoyo's horror, she reads it and places it in her desk. The rest of the day passes by and all she could concentrate on was the letter. She had to read the letter. Finally, the teacher dismissed the class, but she called Tomoyo to stay after class.

Tomoyo: "I know you want to talk to me about the note, but it wasn't a note being passed around."
Teacher: "Then what was it?"
Tomoyo: "It was a letter sent to me by mail from a friend."
Teacher: "Okay, I'll let you go this time, but if I catch you again the letter will go straight to the trash understood?"
Tomoyo: "Yes mam."

  Tomoyo quickly rushed home to read the letter. When she arrived, she threw her bag to the side and jumped on her bed and opened the letter and read:

Dearest Tomoyo,
    It's been years since I've seen you and everyone at Readington. I really miss everyone, yes including Zachary, but not that much! I bet Li doesn't miss me as much though. My birthday is coming up soon and I want all of my friends from Japan to come. Although, I only have enough money to send one person here, so I chose you. I miss you most of all. I'll be waiting at the airport all day if I have to. I have to tell you something you must know that I've been hiding all these years. I know you have school, so you don't have to stay long.

She found 400 yen in the envelope. Then she called Sakura

"On the Phone"

Tomoyo: "Hello? Sakura?"
Touya: "This better not be China boy "
Tomoyo: "No Touya, it's me, Tomoyo."
Touya: "Oh, hold on ."
Touya (off the phone): "Hey monster! Phone!"
Sakura: "Who is it?"
Touya: " It's Tomoyo!"
Sakura: " Okay! I'm coming!"
Touya (back on the phone): " She's coming."
Sakura: "Tomoyo?"
Tomoyo: "Hey Sakura-chan! Do you remember Eriol's birthday?"
Sakura: "Yeah, it's the 23rd, this weekend."
Tomoyo: "What?! Thanks Sakura gotta go "

" At Home"

Tomoyo's mom: "What?! You're going to England?"
Tomoyo: "I know it sounds sudden mom, but Eriol's birthday is soon and I really want to be there on his birthday."
Tomoyo's mom: "How long will you stay? You know you have school still."
Tomoyo: " I'm only staying there for two days."
Tomoyo's mom: "Okay, if it's only for two days I'll let you go "
Tomoyo: "Thanks Mom!"

"At the Airport"

Sakura: "So when will you be back again?"
Tomoyo: "I'll be back on Monday, but I'm going back to school on Tuesday."
Sakura: "Ooooo! Are you going to spend the night in his bed?" [Gets a funny look on her face]
Tomoyo: " Sakura!!" [Turns red]
Li: "I still don't trust that guy one bit . I still think he's up to something."
Sakura: "Oh come on Li, I've changed all the cards, lighten up!"
Li: "..."

"In England"

Speaker: "Now arriving, flight #28 arriving from Tokyo "
Eriol: "Wow, she turned up early."

  Tomoyo exits the plane and looks around for Eriol. She couldn't recognize anyone. After ten minutes of looking around, she finally called out his name.

Tomoyo: " Eriol!! Where are you?"
Tomoyo: "Where could he be?"

  Just then, Tomoyo hears a deep, but familiar voice behind her.

Eriol: "Hey, can you help me find someone?"

  Tomoyo turned around

Tomoyo: "Huh? wait a sec ERIOL?"
Eriol: "Oh it's you Tomoyo! You've changed."
Tomoyo: "Same to you."

  She looked at the mysterious yet handsome figure in front of her. Dark black hair, tall, slim, anything a girl could ask for. He was perfect. She blushed a bright red.

Eriol: "My car is in the front. Do you want me to help you with your luggage?"
Tomoyo: "Yeah, can you? Sorry, it's heavy."
Eriol: "It's no problem" [smiles]

"In the Car"

Eriol: "So how's everyone back in Japan?"
Tomoyo: "The same as ever. Li and Sakura are still together and Zachary, Chelsea, Nikki, and Rita all go to the same school as us."
Eriol: "I bet Li is still mad at me about what happened with the Clow Cards."
Tomoyo: "Yeah, you know Li " [Starts to get red]
Eriol: "Is it okay if I bring you somewhere tonight?"
Tomoyo: "Sure, it's okay."

"Later that Night"

Tomoyo: "Wow The park is so beautiful at night."
Eriol: "Yeah, it's my favorite place to be alone it's really peaceful."
Tomoyo: "I see what you mean."

  Tomoyo and Eriol take a walk through the park. Finally, they reach the top of a bridge and they look over into the water

Eriol: "Ummmm Tomoyo, I have to tell you something."
Tomoyo: "Yes, I have to tell you something too but you can go first."
[They both turn red]
Eriol: "Okay, here it goes Tomoyo, before I came to Japan, all I could think about was increasing my magical powers just like Li. I've heard about him from my father. He sounded like a real true sorcerer and I wanted to be just like him to make my father proud. I spent most of my time increasing my magic hoping to get stronger. When I decided to travel to Japan, I thought I could train under Li's techniques, but I found out that he was way weaker than I expected I also sensed Sakura's strong magic the first time I saw her. I know it seemed like I liked her at first, but when I met you, I developed a feeling inside that I've never felt before. Ever since the day I left to come back here, I missed you more than anyone. So I found out that it has all come down to this Tomoyo, I love you."

  With those words, tears went down Tomoyo's face. After all this time, he felt the same way about her.

Eriol: "Why are you crying Tomoyo? I'm sorry, but that's how I feel I hope you can forgive me "

  Eriol tries to wipe her tears away, but she flinches under his hand. Then Eriol becomes quiet and looks sadly down at his reflection in the water.

Tomoyo: "Eriol "
[Lifts his head up slowly]
Eriol: "Yes?"
Tomoyo: "Well, I have the same confession to make I love you too Eriol."
[Eriol suddenly lifts his head higher in surprise]
Eriol: "You...you do?"
Tomoyo: "More than anything else in the world I missed you a lot too."

  Tomoyo's eyes water once again and they both hug under the light of the moon. Just then, they noticed a shooting star and they both wished that they could be together forever
