Tomoyo's Silver Nights
by Sakura Zako
Chapter 2
"TOMOYO! YOU'RE LATE! I will see you after school." Sakura whispered to Tomoyo
when she sat down, "You're late! What happened? You're never late!" "I was
thinking about something and I lost track of time." "You should alwa y s . . ."
She didn't hear the rest of her sentence. Eroil was doing something very
strange. He was leaning back in a chair blowing a big piece of bubble gum. (What
is he doing? He knows gum isn't aloud!) As if Tomoyo's thoughts and Mr. Terada's
were linked, he turned around. "EROIL-KUN! I Will See You After Class!" Eroil
shot a great big smile towards Tomoyo. "Tomoyo-Chan! I think he did that just
for you!" Sakura shot her a wink. Tomoyo Blushed.
The Day couldn't go fast enough for Tomoyo. She didn't think about Sakura once.
She could only think of the Dark Headed Boy that she adored. Finally the bell
rang to go home. "Tomoyo-Chan, you will clean desks. Eroil-Kun you will erase
the blackboard." (So close, but yet so far!) As soon as Mr. Terada turned his
back, Eroil threw one of the chalkboard erasers across the room. It landed two
feet from Tomoyo's shiny black shoes. "May I walk the fair maiden home?" He
asked her. "Sure!" "I'll meet you by the swings" (Should I take the long way
home, so I can peer upon his beautiful face a couple minutes longer, or should I
take the short way home?) She was so excited that she spaced out and finished
the desks in record time. She went straight to the swings to wait for Eroil. She
sat on the swings and closed her eyes. A faint Sakura was on the swing next to
her. Tomoyo heard a very faint voice say, "Come With Me" as the misty figure
went towards the trees. "TOMOYO!" "Huh? Eroil. I feel so faint. What's Wrong?"
Eroil's face showed a worried look. She looked around and saw that she was in
his masculine arms again. She turned the color of Strawberry's. "Sorry! I'm
starting to believe that this swing is cursed." Tomoyo got up and suspiciously
looked at the Trees across the playground. "Let's go." "Ok." "Are you going to
the Spring Carnival, Tomoyo?" "If I can find someone to go with me." "I don't
have anyone to go with, so, maybe we should go together!" Eroil flashed his
famous smile and Tomoyo's knee's started to melt. "I would love to go with you."
"Great! I'll pick you up at Noon tomorrow!" "Ok, bye Eroil" "Bye!"
"He asked you to the Spring Carnival?" Suddenly Tomoyo heard a loud thump. "What
was THAT?" "Gulp, I fell off the bed" Tomoyo Giggled. Sakura was very clumsy.
"Have you asked Li to the Carnival yet?" "I was about to but he turned around
and ran away!!!" "If you want I could call him for you and see if he's going
with someone else." "Ok! Call me right back!" -CLICK- "Hello?" "Hi Li-kun!"
"Tomoyo?" "Yep. Just wondering, have you asked Sakura to the Spring Carnival
yet?" "Ack! How did you know that I was going to ask her?" "She told me that you
ran away from her earlier today." "Arrrggg . . ." "The Big Li Shaoran scared of
something! I would have never guessed." It was fun to tease Li-kun. "I could ask
Sakura if she is interested if you want me to." "Ok! Call Me back!" -CLICK-
(They are so much alike) Tomoyo waited a couple of minutes before calling Li
back (I can not believe that I'm doing this!) "Hi Li-kun. She said that she
would go with you if you asked her." "Thanks Tomoyo-Chan!" "Bye" "Bye". (I bet
Sakura will be surprised that it is Li-kun that calls her next and not me!) The
Dark Haired Girl started to daydream about Eroil. (His arms are so comfortable!
I could lie in them all day!) ~RING RING~ (It's most likely Sakura come to tell
me that Li-kun and her are going to the Carnival Together) "Hello?" Instead of
Sakura's soft voice she heard a strong noble voice "Hello Tomoyo-Chan" "How did
you get this number Eroil?" "Li-Kun Gave it to me" (Note To Self: Thank Li-Kun)
"Oh" "Is Tomoyo-Chan mad at me?" "No, Never. I'm just surprised." "I could not
wait until Noon to talk to you." "I'm sorry, but I have to get my rest." "Oh" (I
made him sad. I am very bad!) "I will see you at 12 then. Bye Tomoyo." "Bye
Eroil!" (If only I could tell you . . .)
