The ongoing conflict between the two: Cardcaptors, the English dubbed version of Card Captor Sakura, or the original Japanese version of Card Captor Sakura? I personally prefer Card Captor Sakura over Cardcaptors. Nelvana beat up our beloved Card Captor Sakura and turned it into a whole different series. They took out countless scenes of not only Tomoyo, but SyaoranxSakura moments, too! They already took out all of the cute love scenes, and then they go on taking out many scenes of Tomoyo. Basically, Nelvana wanted Card Captor Sakura to be a "kids" cartoon, but by taking out all those scenes and skipping so many episodes, they have taken out the essence of Card Captor Sakura! If Nelvana doesn't want kids to watch any love scenes, then why air it on a kids network? It's just plain stupid. Compared to Card Captor Sakura, Cardcaptors bore me. That's how much "scenes" they took out of it. I also very much dislike Tomoyo's dubbed voice. She's doesn't even sound cute anymore! She sounds older than a 10 year old. 'More like someone who's in highschool. Worst of all, her voice sounds so valleygirl-ish. Put simply, she sounds bratty. She no longer has that sweet, soft, calming voice of hers. Her whole personality seemed to have changed too. She's seems so helpess and useless. Her accompying Sakura during her card quests appeared pointless, and it seemed as if her only purpose in being there was to get in the way. In fact, her whole purpose in the anime is gone, and it's as if Tomoyo would care less about matters. Sure, Tomoyo isn't the leading female character and there aren't as much scenes of her as Sakura, but in Cardcaptors, Tomoyo's scenes are cut in half, which makes her an even more minor character.
