Why a singer/voice actor?: Inspired by Tsubasawo of Akaitori in her childhood, triggering her heavy music influence from musicians such as Maria Takeuchi, Yumi Arai, and Akaitori.
BRIEF HISTORY
In 1983, she began living in Tokyo as she acquired her position in first audition. In 1986, she joined the pops music group "Saint Four" as its new member. In 1989, Iwao released her first record as a children's song singer and begins her career, of which she continues until 1993. In 1991, she hosts a NHK-TV six grade show, "Hatena Science." In 1993, she makes a Seiyuu(voice actor) debut in NHK Sougou-TV "Montana Jones" as Melissa Thorn. In 1995, she released her 1st original album, "Hajimemashite." As time rolled by, she's been performing in various shows up to present. Simultaneously, she has released 4 original albums, 10 singles, and a live album as a singer. She concentrates on the live performances from a concert in front of small audiences to the Japan tour. In 2000, she goes on to the "Concert Tour 1999-2000", which started off with two-day live at Nakano Sun Plaza in '99, and released 3 maxi single and her 5th album on December 6.
