Her Hair: The first thing you'll probably notice about Tomoyo is her hair. Tomoyo's hair is either put up or down. She usually styles her hair in a classy variety of styles. Some examples are... Meiling's hair style except braided, a pony tail, pig tails, two buns, down, etc. Her hair reaches down at about her waistline. The color of it is a mix of blue, gray, and purple, so I just called it purple-grayish azure. You MAY think that her hair is no big deal, but actually, it is. It even has a story behind it! It's not everyday that hair has a story. Why does Tomoyo has such beautiful long hair? Well, Sonomi, Tomoyo's mother, loved Nadeshiko, Sakura's mother, very much, as much as Tomoyo loves Sakura. Sonomi has been protecting Nadeshiko from any guys that tried to take Nadeshiko from her. It was one day that 16-year-old Nadeshiko married her own novice teacher, Kinomto Fujitaka. Nadeshiko died at age 27, and Sonomi blames Fujitaka for her death. Sonomi always tries to compete with Fujitaka and seems to hate him a lot, but it seems more like she's teasing him. Sonomi misses Nadeshiko a lot, so she made sure Tomoyo's hair, as well as her appearance, is like that of Nadeshiko's. Sonomi did a pretty good job, because if you looked at Tomoyo and Nadeshiko, they look VERY similiar. Anyway, below are a few of Tomoyo's hair styles...
Her Eyes: The second thing you'll probably notice is her big, CUTE eyes. I'm not sure, but the designers probably tried to make her eyes match the color of her hair? Even so, I love them! They're just adorable! XD Tomoyo's eyes change along with her expression. Whether she's has stars in her eyes for Sakura, depressed, tired, worried, etc., her eyes always show her emotion... so if by any chance she's hiding her feelings, ONLY if you're an observant person will you be able to tell what she truly is feeling inside. Aside from that, she could see right through anyone's fake smiles. We've all got one right? We may smile, but inside, you might be depressed. With Tomoyo's big, bubbly eyes, it's quite an easy task to see through anyone's mask. Below are two pictures of her eyes~
Her Clothes: The 3rd thing you'll probably notice is Tomoyo's unique way of dressing, when she's not in her school uniform, that is. Just by looking at her sense of style, you'll probably guess that she comes from a wealthy family. Her clothing are so classy and stylish, not to mention exquisite. She must be a very good designer to not only make such pretty costumes for Sakura as well as dresses for herself, but to be able to choose the right pieces of clothing to match each outfit and herself. Either Tomoyo makes her clothing, or buys them. I find it pretty amazing if she makes them herself since she's only 10 and look how pretty her clothing are! Along with her kimonos and dresses, she also makes wonderfully designed battle costumes for her one and true best friend, Sakura. If you ever noticed, Tomoyo usually wears long dresses. Whereas, Sakura appears to usually be wearing very short skirts, shorts, etc. It'd be utterly impossible for me to just choose a few of Tomoyo's outfits and display them here. Her Skin Tone: Well, though I might be wrong, but the last thing you'll probably notice about Tomoyo is her completely pale skin tone. It can practically be mistaken for white. But, if you asked me, which I hoped you did, her pale skin matches perfectly with the beautiful, pale and dark colored clothing she wears. Tomoyo might as well be a model like Nadeshiko, she's so perfect, even her skin tone is beautiful. You can compare Sakura's skin tone to Tomoyo's skin tone below and see the difference.
