As some of you may know, and for those of you who don't know, CLAMP has created another series for fans to drool over: Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE. The series of TRC has a mix of many characters from other CLAMP series. Although I won't explain the whole storyline of TRC, you can find more information about it here~ :D However, I will explain Tomoyo's role in TRC. In Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE, Tomoyo is the princess of Japan Country, also called the Kingdom of Japan. When Japan Country was invaded by assasins, Kurogane, a ninja that answers only to Princess Tomoyo, killed them all right away with no trace of remorse inside him. Princess Tomoyo have instructed Kurogane to not kill unnecessarily anymore, yet he does so anyway. Kurogane have always wanted to be stronger than anyone, and it doesn't matter to him who lives or dies, as long as he pursues his life-long ambition. Princess Tomoyo had no other choice but to send him to another dimension where he can meet many people and learn the TRUE meaning of "strength". Before Kurogane was transported away, Princess Tomoyo put a spell on him that causes his power to decrease everytime he kills someone. Although Kurogane appears to have a hot temper around Princess Tomoyo, some say that Kurogane shares a special connection with her. There is a hint of this in Chapter 7 of the manga when Kurogame says with a very serious expression plastered on his face, "In this life time, the only one I will serve is Princess Tomoyo!" From that, you can tell that Princess Tomoyo is someone very important to him, but feelings of love for her has yet to be proved.
